Even where planning permission isn't required, Building Regulations approval is still very likely to be needed. A bathroom refurbishment typically takes 2–4 weeks, a kitchen renovation 3–6 weeks, and a full extension 10–16 weeks, though every project is scoped individually. You'll receive a detailed programme before work starts, and your project manager will flag anything that could affect the timeline as soon as it comes up.
